OptiSoil Achieves ASPAC Certification

2nd March 2026

We are proud to announce that OptiSoil has successfully completed ASPAC proficiency certification through the Australian Soil and Plant Analysis Council.

This achievement represents an important milestone for our laboratory and reinforces our commitment to delivering accurate, reliable and scientifically robust soil analysis services to Australian farmers, agronomists and land managers.

What This Means for Our Clients

ASPAC proficiency programs independently assess the analytical performance of participating laboratories through inter-laboratory comparison testing. Laboratories are provided with blind samples and their results are statistically evaluated against peer laboratories across Australia.

Successfully completing this program demonstrates that:

  • Our analytical methods meet recognised Australian industry standards
  • Our laboratory results are accurate and consistent
  • Our quality assurance systems are operating effectively
  • Our clients can have confidence in the data that informs their farm management decisions

For farmers and agronomists, soil data forms the foundation of critical decisions relating to fertiliser strategies, soil constraint management, crop selection and long-term soil health. Confidence in laboratory accuracy is essential. ASPAC proficiency certification provides that assurance.

Strengthening Scientific Integrity

At OptiSoil, pedometrics and soil constraint management rely on high-quality data. Digital soil mapping, nutrient interpretation and soil variability analysis are only as strong as the laboratory results that underpin them.

By completing ASPAC proficiency certification, we strengthen the scientific integrity of every service we deliver, from soil sampling design through to laboratory analysis and digital soil map production.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Participation in ASPAC programs is not a one-off achievement. It reflects an ongoing commitment to benchmarking our laboratory performance against national standards and continuously improving our analytical processes.

We are committed to maintaining rigorous quality control systems and ensuring our clients receive soil data they can trust.

Supporting Australian Agriculture

OptiSoil was founded on the principle that better soil understanding leads to better land management decisions. Achieving ASPAC proficiency certification aligns with our broader mission to provide scientifically rigorous, independent soil advice that improves productivity, profitability and sustainability across Australian agriculture.

We thank our team for their dedication to maintaining the highest laboratory standards and our clients for their continued trust in our work.
